This is one of the greatest assets of our campsite in Saint-Laurent-les-Bains: direct access to the La Borne river, this wild and crystal-clear river that winds through the Ardèche mountains. From the Ceytrou bridge, the natural, wild beach is just a few steps away: barely a few meters separate your tent or chalet from the pure waters of the Borne. Welcome to your Ardèche base camp, our riverside campsite in Ardèche, as close to nature as possible.
Water quality is regularly monitored, and a swimming profile is kept up to date. You can therefore swim with complete peace of mind in a preserved natural environment.

Few campsites offer such a feeling of immersion in nature. Here, the La Borne river is your neighbor. Its fresh, transparent waters, its banks covered with lush vegetation, its secret little nooks… everything invites total disconnection. Leave the screens aside, put your belongings on the pebbles and dive into authentic Ardèche. The camping pitches closest to the river are in high demand during peak season: remember to book!
Swimming and relaxing at the La Borne beach
The natural beach at the foot of the Ceytrou bridge is the ideal place to spend a dream afternoon. Lying on the pebbles or in the grass, children splashing around happily, teenagers diving from the rocks… La Borne beach brings everyone together in a relaxed and festive atmosphere. A true delight of simple and authentic holidays. And when hunger strikes, the restaurant and bar are just a stone’s throw away.
Swimming is unsupervised: everyone is responsible for their own safety and that of their loved ones.
Canoeing and other water activities on the river
The Borne is also suitable for water sports for the more adventurous. If you wish to try canoeing or other water activities, you do so at your own risk (mountain rivers can hold surprises).

Fishing enthusiasts will be delighted: the Borne is a renowned river among anglers with its beautiful fishing spots all along its banks. Its fresh, well-oxygenated waters are home to healthy populations of trout and other river fish. Whether you are an experienced angler or a beginner trying your luck for the first time, the banks of the Borne hold pleasant surprises. A fishing license is mandatory (Ardèche fishing license or day pass).
